Compensation and Benefits Survey
The 2013 SAWA Compensation and Benefits Survey was launched in February 2013, and is available for order NOW. The report contains animal welfare industry specific data collected through the February 1, 2013 payroll period, including:
- General Information - Displays reported data for 2012 Asilomar Records, and web site traffic. Resource Directory information is displayed by total aggregate, average aggregate and by individual participant.
- Wage and Salary Data - Reported by annual budget and by geographic location. This section includes weighted average and annual incentive data lines for each job classification. Also reported for each surveyed position is the percent of incumbents having supervisory responsibility, CAWA certification, eligibility for bonus/incentive pay, and degree of match indicator. Benefit information is also displayed for CEO/Executive Director.
- Personnel Practices Data - This section includes selected benefits and personnel practices for reporting Organizations.
- Operational Information - Average staff turnover (admin, adoptions, field ops, animal care, veterinarian); population of area served; facilities (# of shelter facilities, # of mobile spay/neuter vehicles, square footage of shelter, facility acreage); employee / volunteer numbers; animal statistics (intakes, transfers, adoptions, return to owner, spay/neuter surgeries); and source of revenue.
As a SAWA member, if you participated in the Survey, a free copy was mailed directly to you (you do not need to order). If you did not participate in the Survey and would like to obtain a copy, please complete and submit the order form. Pricing is as follows:
